Candidates will need to meet the entry requirements of both the School Direct partnership and Goldsmiths. Candidates must hold a GCSE A*-C or equivalent in mathematics and English, and primary candidates must also hold an A*-C (or equivalent) in science. Requirements must be met by the
commencement of the course.
For School Direct Salaried, candidates must have three years work experience. In line with NCTL policy, some schools may accept applicants from high quality graduates with less than three years’ work experience in subjects such as maths and physics.
In addition, anyone applying for an Initial Teacher Training (ITT) course must pass the numeracy and literacy skills tests before starting the course and ideally before the interview.
